reSorb ceiling islands installed at Bristol University

During a major refurbishment by Overbury of several floors at Bristol University's Great George Street campus, Acoustics by Design have installed acoustic ceiling islands suspended beneath the structural concrete ceiling. Following the current trend there is no traditional drop ceiling, leaving exposed services. The acoustic islands reduce the reflection of sound making the space less noisy. Acoustic wall panels were also installed in meeting rooms to reduce the echo and reverberation.

Currently the same treatment is being applied to the University’s St. Augustine campus over several floors.
