Latest acoustic works completed at Saga
Acoustics by Design were asked to review the noise levels in four of Saga’s buildings, all in the South East of England.
The most recent area to be treated is the travel contact centre at their Enbrook site in Sandgate. The solution is phased with installation of large square acoustic absorbing ceiling islands installed beneath the architectural concrete ceiling. The installation work was carried out at night to avoid disruption to the 7 day a week contact centre.
The islands will reduce the noise in the contact centre, improving the acoustic comfort of the agents whilst reducing the background noise for customers.
The next phase for the contact centre is to introduce sound masking, raising the background sound levels to further reduce noise.
