CDW - One New Change, London
The brief
In August 2020, Acoustics By Design were invited to accompany MJF Office to CDW’s new headquarters overlooking St Paul’s to advise on the acoustics.
With over 20 meeting rooms and cellular offices CDW were keen to ensure that all spaces functioned well acoustically and promoted clear communication, particularly as most meeting rooms have video conference capabilities.
Reverberation measurements were made for each room and various ReSorb products were proposed to reach recommended reverberation times.
CDW were keen to keep a level of consistency between our products and the new furniture provided by MJF. We recommended that by using Camira Blazer fabrics to line all the ReSorb Walls and ReSorb Panels the look and feel of the office was maintained. The ceiling mounted ReSorb Baffles were pure white to subtly blend in with the ceilings and the white Baffles worked to great effect with the glow of the fluorescent lights in the games room.
