Colin Rawlings MIoA
A qualified acoustician, Colin has been working in the office acoustics field since 2002 working all over the UK, Europe, Africa and the Middle East.
Colin often gives briefings, seminars and CPDs to designers, architects and corporates and is widely known for his knowledge of sound masking.
Charlie Wootton
Charlie has been working in the furniture and fit-out industry for over 5 years and joined Acoustics By Design in Spring 2019. Having completed a course in competence in environmental noise measuring at Solent University, he works with a number of accounts as well as dealing with incoming enquiries and business development.
Charlie is mainly based in Orangebox’s Smartworking showroom in Clerkenwell where he is available to offer acoustic expertise and product demonstration such as sound masking.
Stella Buckingham
Stella has experience in marketing, operations and sales from working in the Travel, Property and Event Management industries. Promoting and supporting the business with social media, newsletters, website content and showcasing the products, service and tangible results within the business.
Stella loves being part of the team that want to succeed in everything we do!
Connor Smithers
As a passionate and innovative Manufacturing Engineer, Connor brings a dynamic energy and expertise to our team, with a specific focus for enhancing acoustics in commercial and public spaces.
With a commitment to delivering lean solutions, Connor thrives on blending the fields of engineering and acoustics to create environments that resonate with positivity and optimal functionality.
Nathan Shakespeare
As project manager Nathan is responsible for the on site delivery of projects including Health & Safety.
Nathan joined the company in 2015 and knows all there is to know about the products and installation.
Abi Rawlings
As project Administrator Abi is the point of contact for customers, Abi organises the dates, the materials and the people needed for each project.
Having previously worked as a school administrator this must be simpler than herding and organising children!
Max Robinson
Max joined the team in May 2022 after many years working as an electrician. His skills are invaluable for sound masking projects.
Max is an active volunteer of the Sussex Search and Rescue organisation and a keen photographer.
Tom Rawlings
After many years working on racing yachts Tom has joined the business bringing with him many practical skills and a problem solving attitude.
His major pastime is no surprise, and he spends a lot of time on the water.
